Blackberry Moonshine Sangria

Make this on Sunday, enjoy it with friends and love it all week long! Many sangria recipes call for Brandy but here I use blackberry moonshine... I mean why not? In the words of my hubs, "This will take out a bear." A good Sangria needs a few hours to really combine the ingredients but I prefer to make it the day before and really give all those flavors time to mesh together.

Ingredients

  • 1 750 mL bottle of red wine, I used a Petit Syrah

  • 2 cup Blackberry Moonshine

  • 1/2 cup Cinnamon moonshine or Fireball Whiskey

  • 1 honey crisp apple, sliced

  • 5 clementines sliced in rounds

  • blackberries for garnish

  • cinnamon stick for garnish

Directions

Mix all ingredients, except garnish, in a large pitcher. Stir and refrigerate for a couple of hours or over night. Serve over ice and garnish with a stick of blackberries and a cinnamon stick.
